Assist with the set-up and layout of event. This role will require walking and potential lifting of equipment.

Duties: Organize and distribute medals and ribbons; assist with award ceremonies.

 

Skills: Energetic, positive, and great with celebrating athletes!

Assist athletes in and out of the field of play during competition; may provide assistance in providing appropriate ball to appropriate athlete.May assist with timing/scorekeeping of play.Ensure that proper athlete is in designated area during competition.Provide assistance to athletes to enter the field of play.Utilize radio communication with the Field of Play Manager throughout the day.

Assist with set-up and layout of courts. Guide athletes and coaches to their courts. Act as a floater between skills to ensure smooth transitions. Encourage athletes as they compete.

Assist with food & beverage distribution, providing service to designated areas within competition venues.Assist with food & beverage set-up, preparation, inventory and re-stocking. Provide professional and friendly service. Maintain neat and clean food & beverage venues.

Renders first aid, additional patient care, and triage within his/her scope of practice and professional standards, assignment of work, and capability of the location; EMT certification minimally needed.

Must be First Aid and CPR Certified

Serve as an official photographer of event. Shift may include Opening Ceremony, sponsors, Healthy Athletes, volunteers, fans, families, and sports competitions.  
Please Note: You must have your own photography equipment. Ideal to have equipment suited for action photography in various lighting situations, including low-light areas.

Ensure process is followed in which teams/athletes check-in at the competition venue upon daily arrival.Follow protocol set for teams to follow to ensure that they check-in upon arrival at the venue.Track team arrival in order to assist with any scheduling issues (i.e. a team has not checked in prior to competition); alert the competition organizers of any teams not present for competition.Assist with any general Team Registration issues relative to competition.

Assist with the overall check-in/out of volunteers, using available technology. Confirms identification utilizing credentials. Directs volunteers to their respective functional areas after volunteer has checked-in to carry out their duties and responsibilities. May be assigned to other areas to provide limited support after volunteer check-in.
