Volunteer: 2026 Kern County | Bowling Competition | Lane Monitor (AM)

Duties:

Lane Monitor will be assigned a lane. Athletes will be escorted to your lane for competition. Upon athlete arrival, monitors will assist with needs such as retrieving bowling ball or shoes (if needed), confirm name matches of participants to computer, help them stay on schedule, assist with scoring and support athletes throughout 3 games of 10 frames each. Upon completion of 3 games, a runner will take final scoresheet to awards and return with proper medals/ ribbons for athletes. Lane Monitor will place athletes in staging order to be announced for Awards. 

 

Skills: Friendly and patient; Attention to detail; basic math or score familiarity is helpful.
