Volunteer Opportunities From: Special Olympics Southern California - Northern Counties

Make a difference in your community by volunteering at this fun, family-friendly event! Volunteers play a key role in bringing together athletes, families, supporters, and neighbors from across Ventura County for an afternoon of food, games, entertainment, and connection.

Clean-Up Volunteers will help:

Clearing and organizing equipment and suppliesLoading the rental truckEnsuring the pavillion is completely cleared of all SOSC supplies at the end of the event

General Volunteers will help:

Assist with volunteer and guest check-inRun activity stations including: facepainting, giveaways, cornhole, axe throwing, and other field gamesRefill beverage stations with ice, water, and other cold drinksEngage athletes and their families and encourage participation at activity stations and the stage.

Unload supplies and materials from the rental truck and stage the equipment at the Lakeside PavillionSet-up the activity areas, volunteer and guest check-in booths, BBQ tablesPrep drinks and snacksWelcome athletes and their families at check-in
